  • Bring your pet with prior approval only
  • Please keep your pet within sight control at all times... visit and wander together
  • We have a small beach. Your pet is welcome. As other beach users arrive, please exit.
  • Ask for dog bowls. They are here for your use.
  • If your pet likes to cuddle with you on the couch or bed, please bring sheets to use as throws.
  • Wet dog from river? Bring towels for wipe down before inviting your pet indoors, thks.
  • Picking up after pet is just what you do, right?
  • Don't leave home without a leash. There are times when it is a must, even for your no-leash-needed friend. After the fall salmon runs there are many dead fish along the river banks, November, December and well into January. Dog heaven. If your dog finds salmon carcasses before you get on the scene its too late to take out the leash! Guests have told us that an adventuring dog (usually a young dog) darting over the bank in the canyon placed both itself and its rescuers in jeopardy.
  • North Cowichan Dog Parks New to the Cowichan Valley are parks with defined dog play areas. (ie: dog off leash) If your dog likes to have pals you may want to check them out as you explore around the Valley
